Nokia To Trial 5G Networks In 2017

Nokia is optimistic to trial 5G networks in 2017 as it is showcasing AirScale Radio Access to support initial deployments at the third annual Brooklyn 5G Summit.

Nokia will also showcase advancements in end-to-end network slicing and will also show mmWave small cells that are fully autonomous, can be deployed anywhere and deliver the low latency and flexibility critical to the IoT.

Nokia and NYU WIRELESS Research Center co-sponsoring third annual Brooklyn 5G Summit, live streamed by IEEE Communications Society Forum brings together a broad set of industries to discuss 5G technologies, support evolving Internet of Things services and business models.
