Bayan Nasri received the B.A.Sc. at the K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Iran, the M.Sc. at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden and the Ph.D. at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, all in Electrical Engineering.
He has been with NYU Tanodn School of Engineering since 2015 as postdoctoral associate. His research interests are in Analog/Mixed-signal Integrated Circuits, Front-end electronics, Analog-to- digital and digital-to- analog conversion, Bio/silicon interfaces and integrated sensors.
My research’s focus has largely been on generating innovative integrated circuit solutions to critical design bottlenecks in biomedical applications, particle physics, instrumentation, and telecommunications with an emphasis on overall power reduction and efficiency improvement. The frequent topic among different areas of my research has been merging diverse areas of circuit design in order to achieve high efficiency, reliability and robustness.
With the objective of building high-impact applications of integrated circuits, I focused on a portfolio of innovative solutions to fundamental problems in high efficiency, high linearity, and low noise schemes. In my research, I utilized novel solutions, design integrated circuits and embedded systems for several cutting edge projects in particle physics, neuroscience applications and 5G telecommunication systems.
